Bachelor of Science degree requirements
To qualify for a Bachelor of Science degree, students must have:
225 points of Science subjects and 75 points of breadth (see below), spread over 3 years
Science:
o At least 62.5 points (equivalent to 5 subjects) at level 1
o At least 62.5 points at level 2
o At least 75 points at level 3, including 50 points making up a Science Major
No more than 37.5 points from any single area of Science study at level 1
Note that Physics is a different area of study from Mathematics and Statistics.
No more than 125 points may be taken in total at level 1
Breadth requirements:
At least 50 points, and maximum 75 points, of breadth over the degree
A maximum of 37.5 points of breadth at level 1
25 points may be taken from either core or breadth subjects
i.e. of 75 breadth points, 50 must be breadth subjects but the remaining 25 can be breadth
or core Science subjects.
