Abby McCorriston, a new
junior ambassador from
Ottawa, Ontario, raised
$60 for JustWorld by
selling mittens that her
grandmother knit. The
mittens are bright blue
and purple with “JW” on them to represent JustWorld
International, and were purchased by friends and fellow
riders. In addition to the mitten sale, she also organized
five days of fundraising for JustWorld at her parents’ Ben
Franklin Park Superdome. They included an advertisement
stating that “Every half hour of indoor golf bought gives one
dollar to JustWorld International”, with information from the
JustWorld website explaining what the organization is,
and received many interested customers who thought the
organization was great! At the end of the week, they raised
a total of $623 for JustWorld!
Chelsea Jones & Allison Kroff
New Professional Ambassadors Chelsea and Allison
raised $422 at the Horseless Horse Show they organized
at the HMI Equestrian Classic at the Sonoma Horse
Park. It was a big hit and they had a huge group of kids
that all had the best time.
Haley Parks & Madeline Bergman
Haley and Madeline organized a fundraiser in February
at Jumpernite, a local horse show hosted by their barn,
Starfire Farm. They put together five large raffle items
and sold tickets for $2 each. For anyone who spent $20
on tickets, they received a free JustWorld lapel pin which
Haley and her mom had ordered prior to the event. Raffle
items included wine and cheese, dog toys, Laurel Burch
bags, and blanket washes/soaking salts for hoofs. She
also baked horse treats and sold them for $3 per bag.
Additionally, she made a poster to display at the event
explaining JustWorld’s mission, complete with brochures
and pictures. Thank you to Tami Masters and Jennifer
Hansen for your support in the initiative! Haley and
Madeline raised over $300!
Reid Patton
Reid started a JustWorld Club at The Harpeth Hall
School, an all-girls school in Nashville, Tennessee, to
raise money and awareness for JustWorld. All of the
funds raised will go towards Los Patojos in Guatemala.
Meghan Rawlins
Meghan Rawlins, owner of Cedar Vista Stables, organized
a fundraiser for JustWorld at their Hunter Jumper Benefit
Horse show in August and raised $270! They held four
different events with dogs and then four for people. They
had super support in both the dog division and the people
divisions and offered a speed class, style class and
puissance or high jump, as well as an off-leash option for
the dogs! Everyone had a wonderful time and they were
really happy as it was for such a good cause. Thank you
for your support!
Clare Rooney & Grady Lyman
Clare Rooney and Grady Lyman collected $549 in
donations at HITS Thermal Week V. They created
special cans they took around the show, sharing
information about JustWorld as well. Special thanks to
Jill Lindsay and Monica Ward (Equ Lifestyle Boutique)
for helping to organize the initiative! As Grady and
Clare proved, it’s almost impossible to not give to a
young person who is trying to raise money to do “good”
in the world.

Week V!
Delaney Flynn
Delaney is a new ambassador and raised $596 at her
fundraiser during HITS Arizona! Her family sponsored
a dinner and Karaoke night and fellow JustWorld
ambassador Allison Kroff gave a lovely speech.
Kate Morrison, Bebe Davis, Isabelle Leibler & Alex Crown
Kate, Bebe, and Isabelle organized a bake sale to raise
funds for a new project in Brazil which students of Private
Tutoring Services have taken the initiative to adopt. The
girls set up a table in ‘pony land’ at WEF to sell the treats.
They raised $500 and talked to a lot of new people about
their initiative and getting involved in JustWorld!
