<strong>Locker</strong> <strong>Tenancy</strong> <strong>Agreement</strong> <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>2014</strong><br />

Dear AMS Club <strong>Locker</strong> holder,<br />

SAC is pleased to provide you with a locker in the Student Union Building for the <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>2014</strong><br />

year. The agreement will be valid from August 1, <strong>2013</strong> until April 30, <strong>2013</strong>; SAC, however,<br />

reserves the right to extend or reduce the period and to impose disciplinary action as set forth<br />

below.<br />

Clubs have responsibilities that go along with the privilege of being allocated locker space and<br />

we ask that all your club members are familiar with the following information and that they<br />

abide by all regulations. Failure to comply with the responsibilities of tenancy will result in<br />

disciplinary action by SAC and/or SUB Security.<br />

A three strike disciplinary policy will be administered to all clubs at the discretion of, and<br />

through consultation with, these two bodies. The first strike will be a warning; the second<br />

warning is grounds for disciplinary action (suspension of accounts or booking privileges). Clubs<br />

who violate the terms of this agreement for a third time are subject to eviction and/or<br />

deconstitution. The severity of the violation will determine the severity of the disciplinary action.<br />

1. All lockers are to be maintained in safe and hygienic condition. The SAC Clubs<br />

Administrator will perform a monthly Health and Safety Inspection of your locker.<br />

Failure to comply with any directions that arise from this inspection will lead to<br />

disciplinary action by SAC.<br />

2. All clubs are to use SAC issued locks on their club locker. Any non-SAC issued lock<br />

being used on a club locker is subject to removal by SAC.<br />

3. Clubs are not permitted to paint or modify their lockers without the approval of SAC.<br />

4. Clubs are responsible for maintaining the security of their lockers. Broken locks should<br />

be reported to the Administration Office immediately. Do not keep cash in your locker:<br />

any cash belonging to your club should be deposited in your club’s AMS account.<br />

5. The storage of perishable foods, alcohol, or illegal substances is not permitted in club<br />

lockers.<br />

6. No paint, propane, butane, solvents, or other flammables may be stored in club lockers.<br />

Please read through the above requirements and sign to indicate that you are familiar with these<br />

rules and that you agree to comply with them. Use common sense, and if you aren’t sure about<br />

something, please ask. Be aware that you are signing on behalf of all members of your club who<br />

will be using the club locker. For further information and regulations, please consult the SAC<br />
