New Website being Built
Russell Stone has been developing a completely new
design for the club website, and it looks stunning! It
features imaginative use of color, photographs and
description of some of our sponsorship activities, and
a clear, easy-to-use layout and navigation system. We
can hardly wait to see it completed and in service.
Creative Juices Start Flowing
Bob Middlebrook managed to get to the March 20 club
board meeting after undergoing medical tests in the ER
for symptoms he had that afternoon. He came to make
his plea for club growth – specifically for a fall membership
drive. All agreed to work on the idea.
President Barbara Baganz and husband Paul went
home that night and talked more about it. They came
up with several ideas, including plans for a breakfast
meeting and program, publicity, new brochures and
fliers, and ways to distribute them.
Barbara e-mailed these to board members and the
district governor and received positive responses. Gov.
Bill Ditman forwarded it to other clubs and they liked it.
Russell Stone suggested some new ways to use the
website, including an online registration form and a
FAQ page.
Who knows where else the brainstorming will
lead? Let’s keep those ideas coming!
