About <strong>Earth</strong> Adv<strong>an</strong>tage Institute (EAI) <br />
<strong>Earth</strong> Adv<strong>an</strong>tage Institute is a nonprofit org<strong>an</strong>ization that works with the building industry to implement sustainable <strong>an</strong>d <br />
energy efficient building practices. Its mission is to create <strong>an</strong> immediate, practical, <strong>an</strong>d cost-‐effective path to <br />
sustainability <strong>an</strong>d to the reduction of carbon in the built environment. The org<strong>an</strong>ization achieves its objectives through <strong>an</strong> <br />
innovative r<strong>an</strong>ge of green building <strong>an</strong>d energy efficiency products <strong>an</strong>d services. These include certification of high <br />
perform<strong>an</strong>ce homes, remodels, sustainable communities, <strong>an</strong>d commercial spaces. Other areas of expertise cover energy <br />
disclosure & perform<strong>an</strong>ce, building stock assessments, water conservation, <strong>an</strong>d carbon foot printing <strong>an</strong>d reporting. The <br />
Institute’s education department offers basic <strong>an</strong>d adv<strong>an</strong>ced courses on building science, green marketing, <strong>an</strong>d green <br />
building valuation. EAI’s perform<strong>an</strong>ce testing technical services team provides a variety of onsite building assessments, <br />
energy audits, <strong>an</strong>d st<strong>an</strong>dards verification. <br />

As a nonprofit sustainable building resource org<strong>an</strong>ization, <strong>Earth</strong> Adv<strong>an</strong>tage Institute periodically offers internship <br />
opportunities to individuals interested in learning more about sustainable building practices. <strong>Internship</strong> applications are <br />
accepted on a rolling basis. Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive about internship opportunities, we c<strong>an</strong>not <br />
respond to each individual application that is submitted. A program m<strong>an</strong>ager will contact you if there is a specific <br />
