With the new SevenLine, Mengele presents a top-class
pick-up: 7 cam-free tine carriers with closely spaced
(54 mm), reinforced tines, integrated into the rotating carrier
drum, offer utmost quiet running and an enormously
increased pick-up performance. The seven
tine rows and a working width of 1,90
m guarantee an even more exact, rakeclean
pick-up, and perfect conveying of
the forage onto the loading unit. Thanks
to the new design of the scraper board, a cam
track is no longer needed. This renders the new
Mengele SevenLine pick-up almost maintenancefree
and absolutely low-wearing.
Maximum Performance for Harvesting silage
High performance can only be achieved by perfect technique:
The unique combination of power-saving drive via
enclosed oil-bath gearbox, gentle forage treatment, as
well as high-performance and low-maintenance overall
design, turn the ROTOBULL into the ideal harvesting
implement for subcontractors and large holdings. Besides
by its performance, the rotor also excels by low wear and
a minimum need of maintenance – an advantage that
during the severe harvesting season can be numbered in
Euros or Pounds. Each ROTOBULL model is available in
four different sizes as loader wagon (LW) or as automatic
loader wagon (LAW) with 2/3 metering rollers.

BullMatic high-performance cutting unit for a precise short cut
On a total conveying area of more
than one square metre, the cutting rotor
conveys the forage extremely gently into
the wagon. 40 knives (RotoBull 5000
38 knives) allow a cutting length down to
37 mm (RotoBull 5000 38 mm). The
twisted arrangement ensures a uniform, low
power demand also with dense forage.
The rotor itself has only two bearings
low-wearing enclosed oil-bath gearbox
with extra strong spur gears. Especially
comfortable for a long working day: the
excellent smooth running. And because
the functional safety has priority, all drive
shafts run in large, particularly long-living
swinging roller bearings.

The new, extendible 40-knives BullMatic cutting unit (standard
with all RS models) cuts the forage down to 37 mm,
thus ensuring an optimum silage preparation. Due to the 25
mm wide, tempered rotor tines a cutting gap of only 3 mm
is achieved, guaranteeing a perfect exact cut. Each knife is
individually protected by the patented Trimatic foreign body
safety mechanism. The cutting length is set by simple preselection
of the knives. In case of possible forage jams,
the cutting unit can conveniently be extended from the
tractor seat.

For servicing, the new BullMatic cutting
unit can be completely wheeled
out from the loader wagon. The
BullMatic cutting unit is unlocked

Arguments that score
MENGELE ROTOBULL silage wagons are manufactured based on a modular
system. Every detail has been designed to maximum load.
By individually selectable equipment, every wagon can be custom-tailored
according to the requirements of the farm.
Automatic loading system
Either a sensor in the upper contact
wall or a contact rake recognize
the loading pressure and automatically
control the floor conveyor
feed, thus ensuring a perfect filling
of the wagon.
Loading unit (patented)
Heavy-duty, low-maintenance
cutting rotor. Driven by gears in

Trailing and supporting leg
Standard equipment includes a
hydraulic continuously heightadjustable
drawbar with a ground

Automatic filling system
As soon as the wagon is full, the
automatic cut-off system switches
the floor conveyor feed off, thus
eliminating overloading.
Cutting unit
The foreign-body protection of every
single knife has been patented. The
number of knives is pre-selectable
in several stages. The cutting unit is
easily re-tractable. There is a maximum
of 38 knives at one level.

Floor conveyor
The hydraulic floor conveyor
feed works almost without being
heard. Four strong chains of up
to 10 mm dia. and a breaking
load of 12,500 kg each (a total
of 50 tons!) and the split scraper
bars in offset arrangement ensure
safe forage transport and quick
offloading.
New chassis frame design
New, solid frame construction with
narrow uprights and a high degree
of stability. The longitudinal beams
canted from the platform to the
side wall upwards in a diagonal
way eliminate the formation of a
forage bridge, and thus guarantee
a quick and easy offloading. The
hot galvanized frame ensures a
long service life. The uprights are
solidly flanged on, the side walls
are made of coated sheet metal
profiles.

Chassis – tough and strong as a bull
Chassis up to an admissible overall weight of 30 tons
The rising loading volumes and high speeds require highquality
chassis. For this reason, RotoBULL loader wagons are
equipped, as standard, with a boogie tandem chassis with
after-running steering axle (optional with RotoBULL 5000). The
enormous swinging path offers a uniform load distribution and
optimum ground adaptation even in difficult and uneven ground.
The wide spring support width ensures high rolling stability, even
with high transport speeds.
Highest operating comfort
Standard micro processor control
The micro processor controlled operating panel has
a well-conceived design. Automatic loading and offloading
functions relieve the driver and help him to
concentrate on the most important actions. All functions
are directly engaged upon pressing a button,
and optically indicated by a pilot lamp. All vehicles
are equipped with a load-sensing hydraulic system.
The automatic loader wagons are fitted with an
on-board hydraulic system.

Tandem unit with hydro-pneumatic spring support
The tandem axle unit with hydraulic compensation convinces by
its high rolling stability. Important compensation paths ensure an
optimum soil adaptation. When fitted with an automatic level
control, the full spring path is always available independent from
the loading state. The automatic level compensation guarantees
that the vehicle always stands parallel to the slope. The cross
switching of the spring cylinders ensures the rolling stability of the
vehicle, thus permitting higher speeds in curves.
Tridem unit with hydro-pneumatic spring support
With the Tridem chassis, high loads are uniformly distributed,
thus ensuring an utmost gentle treatment of the soil. The hydropneumatic
spring support with automatic level control offers
greatest driving comfort. The front and rear axle are directed by
a two-side forced steering. Because of the low trailing attachment
with ball head coupling, the vehicle can be moved at an
admissible total weight of 30 tons.
Optional ISOBUS control
The loader wagon with an ISOBUS job counter can
optionally be controlled with the BullTronic control unit or
the tractor terminal. The free arrangement with the loader
wagon functions on the tractor joy stick offer the highest
operating comfort. The ISOBUS control provides the driver
with additional functions like
