WELCOME Welcome to the Spring Edition of Into Xile; If you’re anything like us your New Year’s resolutions are long forgotten and the past four months have been spent huddled under the duvet waiting on the sunshine! Although it’s still freezing outside we’ve got a bumper edition of the magazine jam packed full of great giveaways and the hottest spring fashions. 2010 looks set to be a massive year for Xile. After the unbelievable success of our Glasgow G-Star franchises we’ve taken the plunge and signed up for an Xile superstore in the newly refurbished St Enoch Centre. There have been rumours of a west coast Xile for years and we’re delighted to announce that this May will see the opening of a stunning new store! The 2300 sq ft unit has been custom designed to showcase our cutting edge collections and we’re confident that it’ll make an immediate impact on Glasgow’s tired retail scene. For a chance to win tickets to our exclusive launch party turn to p3. The buying team have outdone themselves this season and there are some exclusive new designs on the shop floor. We’ve got a great selection of Liam Gallagher’s hotly tipped Pretty Green clothing, for a sneak peek at the best design turn to p18. There are also fresh new collections from Lyle & Scott, Diesel, Luke and G-Star. We’ve got an exclusive interview with Luke’s head designer on p4 as well as a guide to the new diffusion label from Lyle & Scott on p59. As always there are great competitions throughout the magazine; this season we’ve got signed Luke memorabilia, Scotland football tickets and a trip to London to give away. As if all that wasn’t enough the intrepid Xile reporting team have highlighted the most promising local bands and reviewed the best clubs, bars and restaurants around town.
