across the country and head designer Luke Roper found himself thrust into the spotlight.
Birmingham born Luke is the son of a dressmaker and his interest in fashion and design was
apparent from an early age. A graduate of London’s Central St Martin’s College of Fashion,
Luke’s design style combines the traditional with the contemporary to great effect. The
brand’s locally inspired designs have attracted global recognition and the Luke Lion is fast
becoming one of the dominant influences on youth fashion. Into Xile caught up with Luke to
