Sexual relationships between teachers and learners are forbidden. This is in line with the teachers’ code of conduct (SACE). If a teacher has a sexual relationship with a learner, the teacher will be held responsible and disciplinary measures will be taken against him/her. You have been following Lindiwe’s trial with interest and you are now going to write an article on the story for the newspaper. You interview Lindiwe and Frank as they come out of court. 1 In groups of four, each of you will act out one of these roles – reporter, Lindiwe, Frank and Ntsoaki.
