Porsche Exclusive & Tequipment The new Cayman and the new Boxster – now with even more personality. New highlights of the Porsche Exclusive & Tequipment collection. Each Porsche is a full-blooded sports car. Its sporty design is coordinated harmoniously with the entire vehicle. Every detail tells a story of equal proportion. A fascinating one. A compelling one. But not necessarily the same one. It is the small but significant difference. Something that highlights individuality without concealing its origins. Something that accentuates personality without hiding its roots. We’ve given a name to this “something” – Exclusive & Tequipment. So that your Porsche is yours for ever. Wheels, mirror attachment point finisher, air intake grills in the rear side section On the outside it’s sporty throughand-through. To increase the distinctive sporty looks of the Boxster and Cayman models, you could start with the exterior – by using additional painted elements, for instance. New options for this include air intake grilles in the exterior colour on the front end of Cayman models, as well as painted air intakes on the rear side section of the Boxster and Cayman models. The latter are available in the exterior colour for Boxster models and in a contrasting exterior colour for Cayman models. New for Cayman models is the option of having the grille in the rear apron 1) sprayed in GT Silver Metallic. This feature applies to both sides of the rear apron and adds to the sporty design. Aerokit Cayman. Aerokit Cayman 1) is another customisation option. It comprises new front splitter spoilers and a fixed rear spoiler on the tailgate for optimum aerodynamics and design. Please note that the approach angle is reduced. Painted wheels. New in the Tequipment programme are the 19-inch SportDesign wheels, black (gloss) 1) . The wheel centre is painted entirely in black. The wheel hub cover, also painted black, displays a coloured Porsche crest and is included. For vehicles with Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM), Porsche Tequipment now offers the option of decorative valve caps embossed with the Porsche crest. A small detail that makes the overall appearance of your tyres even more exclusive. 1) Earliest availability: 02/2009. Exclusive & Tequipment Collection Sports exhaust system including sports tailpipe Aluminium PDK gear/handbrake lever, leather PDK gear shift trim surround Sports tailpipe and sports exhaust system. Some of the new options for the engine, transmission and chassis on Boxster and Cayman models include the sports tailpipe 2) , which comes in a twin-tube polished stainless steel design with polymer nanocoating. The sports tailpipe is included if you opt for the new sports exhaust system 2) with altered main silencers. 2) Earliest availability: 06/2009. From the inside: sportiness you can feel. Porsche Exclusive & Tequipment has developed exciting options for the interior too. To supplement the gear/handbrake lever in aluminium 3) , a unique gear selector was developed for vehicles with Porsche dual transmission (PDK). The aluminium gear selector is equipped with leather insets in the interior colour. The matching handbrake lever has an aluminium handle and leather elements covered in the interior colour. Further highlights are design options for the skirt and frame that surround the PDK gear shift. The trim surround around the PDK gear shift 3) is both covered in leather matching the interior colour, as well as painted in either the exterior colour, black or in our aluminium look. The PCM package 3) also offers exclusive personalisation options. It can be covered with leather that matches the interior colour or painted in the exterior colour, black or in our aluminium look. 3) Earliest availability: 03/2009. Sport bucket seat. A new, sporty option in the Porsche Tequipment line are sport bucket seats with hinged backrests, integrated thorax airbags and manual fore/aft adjustment. The cushion shell is made of carbon- fibre reinforced plastic with a surface made of visible carbon fibre. The sport bucket seats are available separately in black leather with an embossed Porsche crest on the headrests or in black, extremely flame-resistant fabric. Please note that child safety seats cannot be used in conjunction with these seats. Child seats. The new Porsche child seats are also a highlight. They have a unique, modern design and meet the latest safety standards. They were specially tested and approved for Porsche vehicles and provid protection and comfort to passengers up to 12 years of age. The fabrics used are breathable, comfortable and easy to clean. The covering is removable and washable. The new child seats are black and grey with a red belt. They can be fitted quickly and easily to the passenger seat with a child seat adapter or with the three-point belt system. For increased protection, the Porsche Baby and the Porsche Junior Seat ISOFIX use a unique five-point belt system. n Porsche child seat You will find more information in our web special at: www.porsche.com
