Requirements and Solutions<br />

For the beverage <strong>in</strong>dustry, fill<strong>in</strong>g sensitive products<br />

<strong>in</strong>to PET bottles while ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g microbiological<br />

safety has been associated with high costs for<br />

many years. KHS can now provide relief with its<br />

InnoPET BloFill UCF. The familiar <strong>blow</strong><br />

<strong>molder</strong>/<strong>filler</strong>/<strong>capper</strong> <strong>monoblock</strong> has been extended<br />

to <strong>in</strong>clude preform sterilization and a smaller<br />

hous<strong>in</strong>g with def<strong>in</strong>ed air management <strong>in</strong> the <strong>filler</strong><br />

area. This does away with the need for a bottle<br />

r<strong>in</strong>ser, plus costs for clean<strong>in</strong>g – which was required<br />

at regular <strong>in</strong>tervals – have been drastically reduced.<br />

A whole range of beverages, such as carbonated<br />

soft dr<strong>in</strong>ks, juices, still water and health and sport<br />

dr<strong>in</strong>ks, can now be filled <strong>in</strong>to PET bottles without<br />

preservatives hav<strong>in</strong>g to be added. Maximum<br />

flexibility and short changeovers are further<br />

dist<strong>in</strong>guish<strong>in</strong>g features of the InnoPET BloFill UCF.<br />

The <strong>monoblock</strong> can fill up to 65,000 bottles per<br />

hour*. All processes are automated, documented<br />

and can be reproduced at any time.<br />
