Requirements and Solutions
For the beverage industry, filling sensitive products
into PET bottles while maintaining microbiological
safety has been associated with high costs for
many years. KHS can now provide relief with its
InnoPET BloFill UCF. The familiar blow
molder/filler/capper monoblock has been extended
to include preform sterilization and a smaller
housing with defined air management in the filler
area. This does away with the need for a bottle
rinser, plus costs for cleaning – which was required
at regular intervals – have been drastically reduced.
A whole range of beverages, such as carbonated
soft drinks, juices, still water and health and sport
drinks, can now be filled into PET bottles without
preservatives having to be added. Maximum
flexibility and short changeovers are further
distinguishing features of the InnoPET BloFill UCF.
The monoblock can fill up to 65,000 bottles per
hour*. All processes are automated, documented
and can be reproduced at any time.
