It is designed to determine the abrasion of a coated surface or finish after it has been impacted by 5, 10 or 15 kg of free-falling sand with a falling height of 80 cm. A test person wearing the prototypes walks on a ramp of adjustable inclination, which can be fitted with different floor coverings. To prevent injuries, the test person wears safety belts.
