Programs and Resources<br />

The <strong>New</strong> <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Bar</strong> Foundation, a nonprofit educational<br />

and philanthropic organization, offers a wide<br />

variety of free law-related education programs and services<br />

for <strong>New</strong> <strong>Jersey</strong> teachers and their students such as:<br />

• Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial<br />

Competition;<br />

• Video Loan Library offering more than 250 titles;<br />

• Mini-Court program for grades K–2;<br />

• Speakers Bureau covering 37 law-related topics;<br />

• Law Fair Competition and Programs for grades 3–6;<br />

• Law Adventure Competition and Programs for<br />

grades 7 and 8;<br />

• Mock Trial Conference for Elementary School<br />

Teachers;<br />

• Annual Law-Related Education Conferences for elementary,<br />

middle and high school teachers;<br />

• Teasing and Bullying program, which educates<br />

teachers and administrators about the myths and<br />

facts of bullying;<br />

• Law-related publications;<br />

• Bill of Rights Bulletin, a newsletter for elementary<br />

and middle school students that explains the Bill of<br />

Rights in plain language;<br />

• Respect, a newsletter about law and diversity for<br />

middle and high school students;<br />

• The Legal Eagle newspaper for middle and high<br />

school students;<br />

• Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation training for<br />

teachers, as well as unique conflict resolution and<br />

peer mediation guides, containing a variety of lesson<br />

plans for elementary, middle and high school<br />

classes.<br />
