Flight School<br />
You will need grid paper, scissors, paper clips, tape,<br />
a measuring tape, and a stopwatch.<br />
Part 1<br />
➤ Each of you builds<br />
2 different paper airplanes.<br />
For each airplane, use only<br />
1 piece of grid paper.<br />
You may use scissors,<br />
paper clips, and tape.<br />
Part 2<br />
➤ Number your airplanes<br />
from 1 to 4.<br />
Mark a start line.<br />
Take turns to throw<br />
each airplane<br />
while your partner<br />
times the flight.<br />
Measure the<br />
distance travelled.<br />
Complete 4 trials<br />
for each airplane.<br />
Record your results<br />
in a table.<br />
