Need a place to stay? Curtin English can offer support and information to help you find suitable
accommodation during your stay in Perth.
Homestay
Stay with an Australian family, couple
or single person and learn about life in
Australia.
Most students choose to stay with a
homestay family when they first arrive
in Perth. It’s a great way to improve
your English skills and get to know
your way around Perth. Your homestay
family will provide you with everything
you need.
Homestay full board offers three daily
meals, 7 days a week. Homestay part
board offers 2 daily meals on weekdays
and 3 daily meals on weekends.
Important note: Curtin English now
outsources this service to a recognised
homestay provider.
Homeshare
Gives you the experience of staying in
an Australian home in your own room
with the independence of arranging
your own meals.
Demi-Pair
In return for weekly house work and/
or babysitting duties, you will receive
free room and board as well as a small
weekly payment.
Share House
You’ll take a room at a property other
people are already living in. You may
be living with other students, families
or others who live nearby and have
a spare room. Most room rentals are
single rooms.
If you choose to share a house, you will
have to prepare your own meals, as no
meals are provided. Living in a share
house is a great way to meet other
students. You’ll have friends in no time!
Rented Accommodation
You can rent your own house or
apartment to live in. If you take this
option you usually have a family or
want to live by yourself.
If you want to rent your own
accommodation, you will have to
prepare all of your own meals.
Short-term Accommodation
You can also choose to be
accommodated short-term in hostel
accommodation (from $55 per night)
or hotel accommodation (from $120
per night).

Airport Pickup
You may choose to be met at the
airport upon your arrival and taken
to your accommodation. This service
is available 24 hours a day, seven
days a week, through a Curtin English
preferred supplier.
