With the My Home burglar-alarm system, all devices of the system are connected in parallel using the<br />
sheathed twisted pair cable (item L4669S for Bticino), which is used to distribute the power supplies (and<br />
signal) to the various devices and to control the alarm signals.<br />
Distribution of the connection procedures can be of the following types:<br />
-Star connection<br />
-Serial connection<br />
-Combined connection
However there are some fixed rules (limits) that the installer has to follow:<br />
a) The connection between power supply and external siren must not be more than 100 meters long.<br />
b) The maximum length of the connections between the two furthest away devices must not be more than<br />
175 meters.<br />
c) The maximum length of the connections must not be more than 350 meters.
