DHL Supply Chain deliver products to over 815 JD
Wetherspoon pubs nationally and at the same time collect
recycling and waste material using the same vehicles to
bring back the waste to a central location for recycling and
consolidation.
Through our services recycling has increased across a number
of waste streams in 2010, these include:
Cardboard/paper – 19% - Aluminium - 89% - Steel – 57%
This has shown an overall increase in recycling volumes of 15%
in 2010, and the increase in recycling has resulted in a carbon
emission saving of 690 tonnes and a landfill tax saving of circa
£150,000.
