Definiti<strong>on</strong>s of c<strong>on</strong>cepts used in the <str<strong>on</strong>g>report</str<strong>on</strong>g>:<br />

Broadcasting: based <strong>on</strong> Act No. LXXIV, 2007 (<strong>on</strong> the rules of broadcasting and digital switchover). Electr<strong>on</strong>ic communicati<strong>on</strong> service provided<br />

via any of the transmissi<strong>on</strong> networks, whereby analogue or digital broadcasting signals are transmitted from the program provider to the<br />

receiving set of the subscriber or user, regardless of the transmissi<strong>on</strong> network and technology applied. In particular, the following shall be<br />

regarded as broadcasting: free-to-air broadcasting, satellite broadcasting, broadcasting via a hybrid fibre-coax transmissi<strong>on</strong> system, as well as<br />

broadcasting a program by a transmissi<strong>on</strong> network using an Internet Protocol, if the type or c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s of the service are equivalent to those of<br />

broadcasting or this method substitutes broadcasting performed in another way. Broadcasting accessible by a subscriber as a separate service<br />

or included in a package together with other electr<strong>on</strong>ic communicati<strong>on</strong>s services against a fee shall also be regarded broadcasting. However,<br />

signal transmissi<strong>on</strong> via a network suitable for c<strong>on</strong>necting less than 10 receiving sets shall not classify as broadcasting.<br />

Wired broadcasting: Broadcasting subscripti<strong>on</strong> service provided through cable televisi<strong>on</strong> networks (CATV) and IP networks (IPTV).<br />

Wireless broadcasting: Satellite (DTH) and Hello Digital (HDig) broadcasting service subscripti<strong>on</strong>s.<br />

CATV: Cable televisi<strong>on</strong> network. Cable televisi<strong>on</strong> networks are wired infrastructures capable of distributing radio and televisi<strong>on</strong> signals to<br />

subscribers.<br />

IPTV: (Internet Protocol Televisi<strong>on</strong>) Digital televisi<strong>on</strong> service provided through IP (Internet Protocol).<br />

DTH: (Direct-to-Home) Broadcasting service provided through satellites.<br />

HDig: (Hello Digital) Wireless, terrestrial microwave service provided by Hello HD Kft. in Budapest and its surroundings.<br />

Set-top-box: Electr<strong>on</strong>ic device c<strong>on</strong>nected to the televisi<strong>on</strong> set and an external signal source, capable of c<strong>on</strong>verting the incoming signals to<br />

c<strong>on</strong>tent that can be displayed <strong>on</strong> the televisi<strong>on</strong> screen.<br />

MinDig TV Extra: Broadcasting subscripti<strong>on</strong> service - <strong>on</strong> DVB-T standard - provided by Antenna Hungária.<br />

DVB-T: (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial) the standard of digital terrestrial video broadcasting.<br />

Smart kártya: Smart card provided by service provider which is necessary to use of MinDig TV Extra coded service.<br />
