Interim Boundary Proposal ‐ Bedford West • This proposal affects a newly populated area of Bedford (6.1.6). • There was some discussion about the idea of Bedford West students going to Kingswood and Madeline Symonds Middle <strong>School</strong>, but this was not feasible due to lack of capacity at Madeline Symonds for future growth in the grade 7‐9 population in Bedford West (6.1.1 and 6.1.2).
Interim Boundary Proposal ‐ Bedford West Rationale highlights: • This would reduce current overcrowding at Bedford South (6.1.4). • This would help to maximize space at Basinview (6.1.4). • This would ensure that there would be capacity to handle anticipated future growth in Bedford West (6.1.1 and 6.1.2).
