• Against Familial Mediterranean Fever<br />

(FMF) - Colchicines from glory lily has<br />

been found to prevent activation of<br />

neutrophills, binding β-tubulin and<br />

prevent assembly of microtubules thus<br />

found in FMF. [12]<br />

CONCLUSION<br />

The wide spread use of glory lily as<br />

chemotherapeutic, antitumour and various other<br />

disorders has lead a scientific approach towards<br />

its use as medicinal plants.<br />
