<strong>BRIC</strong> investment countries – that’s <strong>Brazil</strong>, <strong>Russia</strong>, <strong>India</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>China</strong> – are some of the hottest emerging<br />
markets right now <strong>and</strong> investors are clamoring <strong>for</strong> stocks, <strong>ADR</strong> list st<strong>and</strong>outs <strong>and</strong> ETF funds in the region.<br />
But unlike domestic stocks, <strong>BRIC</strong> funds <strong>and</strong> emerging market investments can be difficult to indentify.<br />
That’s partially because U.S. investors don’t experience the br<strong>and</strong>s in their day-to-day lives like they do a<br />
McDonald’s (MCD) or a Walmart (WMT), but it’s also because the best <strong>BRIC</strong> investments are often ones<br />
few traders have heard of yet.<br />
So how do you go about finding the best <strong>Brazil</strong> stocks or the best <strong>China</strong> investments? How can you make<br />
sure that your retirement money can grow <strong>and</strong> thrive thanks to the growth in <strong>India</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Russia</strong>? Simple: Do<br />

That means if you invest in <strong>Brazil</strong>, you are taking on bigger risk by investing through the <strong>Brazil</strong> stock<br />
exchange.<br />
If you want to limit your risk, however, you can invest in <strong>Brazil</strong> stocks that are traded on the U.S. stock<br />
exchange in the <strong>for</strong>m of <strong>ADR</strong> contracts– or American depositary receipts. These are traded just like shares<br />
of stock, with an American bank acting as a go between <strong>and</strong> the SEC offering the same protections <strong>and</strong><br />
oversight. It’s the best of both worlds with <strong>BRIC</strong> <strong>ADR</strong> contracts that allow you to invest in the hottest<br />
emerging markets while still shrouding your investment portfolio in the safety of American securities law!<br />
