Product description
These porously pre-sintered aluminum oxide blocks (Al 2 O 3 ) are
indicated for the fabrication of very strong copy-milled all-ceramic
anterior and posterior crown frameworks and three-unit
anterior bridge frameworks with one pontic.
The frameworks are fabricated using the Mikrona CELAY
system. After glass infiltration firing, during which the milled
frameworks retain their final strength and individual coloring,
they are veneered with VITA VM 7 fine-structure ceramic.
Features/Benefits
– VITA In-Ceram ALUMINA for CELAY blocks, which are more
strongly sintered than for slip application, offer a perfect
combination of machinability and high final strength. The
result:
– Processing times are far shorter than when using the slip
technique, as no duplication, no die and no sinter firing is
necessary.
– Minimal risk of damage during fabrication, as the restoration
does not need to be handled while in a fragile state.
– Due to their high stability of around 500 MPa, restorations
made from VITA In-Ceram ALUMINA offer the possibility of
non-adhesive cementation.
