for crowns and three-unit anterior bridges with one pontic<br />

Product description<br />

These porously pre-sintered aluminum oxide blocks (Al 2 O 3 ) are<br />

indicated for the fabrication of very strong copy-milled all-ceramic<br />

anterior and posterior crown frameworks and three-unit<br />

anterior bridge frameworks with one pontic.<br />

The frameworks are fabricated using the Mikrona CELAY<br />

system. After glass infiltration firing, during which the milled<br />

frameworks retain their final strength and individual coloring,<br />

they are veneered with <strong>VITA</strong> VM 7 fine-structure ceramic.<br />

Features/Benefits<br />

– <strong>VITA</strong> In-Ceram ALUMINA for CELAY blocks, which are more<br />

strongly sintered than for slip application, offer a perfect<br />

combination of machinability and high final strength. The<br />

result:<br />

– Processing times are far shorter than when using the slip<br />

technique, as no duplication, no die and no sinter firing is<br />

necessary.<br />

– Minimal ri<strong>sk</strong> of damage during fabrication, as the restoration<br />

does not need to be handled while in a fragile state.<br />

– Due to their high stability of around 500 MPa, restorations<br />

made from <strong>VITA</strong> In-Ceram ALUMINA offer the possibility of<br />

non-adhesive cementation.<br />
