Product description
VITA VM 9 was developed as a special, fine-structure feldspar
veneering ceramic for yttrium-stabilized ZrO 2 frameworks with
a CTE range of approx. 10.5 (e.g. VITA In-Ceram YZ).
Precise matching of the CTE with zirconium dioxide materials
ensures perfect bonding and reliable results.
In addition to this, VITA VM 9 is ideally suited for individualizing:
VITABLOCS and VITA PM 9.

The abrasion behavior of various ceramic materials in comparison
to natural tooth enamel was examined in a study performed
by Giordano at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at
the University of Boston. The best results were obtained with
VITA VM 9, since, on account of its fine structure, it demonstrates
the virtually ideal behavior of natural tooth enamel.
VITA VM 9 is available in VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER and VITA
classical A1-D4 shades.
