A Medical Practitioner is not Negligent in obtaining a
Patient’s Consent if he/she only discloses the risk that
would have been mentioned by a Responsible Body of
Medical Opinion.
A Medical Practitioner is under a duty to provide the
Patient with the information necessary to make a
balanced judgement regarding the proposed treatment
or procedure.
