Holidays are fun-filled with New Youth 

Theatre’s Lion King Summer Camp Week 

Your child will enjoy hours of fun working 

alongside the highly-motivated theatre 

facilitators incorporating song, dance and 

drama. It includes a costumed and 

staged mini-production on the final day 

and an exciting theatrical make-up 

workshop open to all students. 

Whatever your child chooses to do on a 

New Youth Theatre holiday course, rest 

assured they will have an incredible time.

THE WHEELS ON THE BUS

A child’s first trip to the theatre should 

be their most memorable. Developed 

with teachers to support the early years 

foundation stage. Join Buster the big red 

bus with all of his friends on their magical 

adventures, journeying through a song 

book loved by all the family. 

This is classic sing-a-long fun at its 

very best for children of all ages. You’ll 

find Buster the bus ‘coming round the 

mountain’, he’ll stop to count ‘ten green 

bottles’, they’ll find ‘five little ducks’ and 

then all go ‘apples and bananas’ so, climb 

on board for the ride of your life!

Swim 4 Fitness is a swimming programme to 

suit your lifestyle, whether for fun, fitness or 

sport, giving you access to a vast selection 

of programmes. 

Lane Swim customers must be over 

14yrs and able to swim 100m on the 

front and back. 

*All swimmers are requested to vacate 

the changing rooms 10 minutes after 

the session has finished. 

NEWARK MILLGATE MUSEUM SUMMER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

OLYMPIC TORCH TRAIL FREE COMPETITION 

10.30am-4.30pm daily 

There were eight Olympic torches in the 

museum but one of the torches has gone 

out! Can you tell which one is missing? 

A £5 gift voucher will be awarded to three 

lucky prize draw winners at the end of the 

summer holiday.

TORCH CATCHER Workshop 

We will be using recycled cones, card, 

crayons, glue, scissors, balls and string to 

create a cup and ball game in the style of 

an Olympic torch. This is a make and takeaway 

workshop for children of all ages.

by an adult. £3 per child or £1.50 for 

Xperience members.

CELEBRATION MASKS Workshop 

We will be using card, paint, glue, scissors, 

feathers and gemstones to create a 

fantasy mask fit for any celebration. This is

Xperience members.

jumping gymnast toy. This is a make and

EQUESTRIAN EVENTING GAME Workshop 

We will be using card, crayons, and scissors 

to create a board game. Choose your horse 

and rider from our GB team and try to avoid 

penalty points to be a winner. This is a make 

and take-away workshop for children of all 

ages.
