Your business may start out with just one employee, but as it grows, you will need to outsource work or hire employees to keep up with your company’s growth. You will be able to bring new workers up to speed quickly if you have a system in place. Then, you just plug them into your system. Every four to six months you will need to review your system to make sure it is still running efficiently and effectively. Website and Marketing Thanks to the Internet, you no longer need a “brick and mortar” building to run a business. This means that to be successful, you will need to have a significant web presence. If your website looks professional, people will assume you are professional…and that includes your e-mail, too! You don’t want to have an AOL, gmail or yahoo email address. When someone has a generic email account, business professionals and potential clients may assume that you are not serious about your business. They may consider that if you are not willing to invest the small amount of money that it takes to get a corporate address for your website, then what else will you skimp on?
