Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are glad to release the list of provisionally selected candidates for admission to the M. Phil Degree
Program for the academic year 2012 – 2013.
You are hereby requested to meet the undersigned for admission on or before Friday, the 10 th August
2012 between 10 am and 4pm.
Important Note
1. Requisite fee must be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, University of Madras’,
payable at Chennai
2. Two separate DDs, one towards ‘Caution Deposit’ Rs. 700 (Rs. 7000 for Foreign Students) and another
towards ‘Tuition and all other fees’ Rs. 4345 (For Sc and ST Rs. 2345 and Rs. 100050 for Foreign Students)
will have to be taken and ‘Safety Insurance Premium’ will be collected separately after the admission
3. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
4. Non-payment of fees within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of admission
5. All semester mark sheets and Provisional/ Convocation of M. Com Degree in original and in photocopy
duly attested should be submitted
6. Final semester mark sheets as downloaded from website shall be duly attested both the HOD and the
Principal of the College/ University, should be submitted
7. Community certificate in original and in photocopy duly attested should be submitted
8. TC in original and in photocopy duly attested should be submitted
9. 10 th Mark sheet in original and in photocopy duly attested.
10. Equivalence certificate wherever applicable should be submitted
11. Eligibility certificate for candidates from other Universities should be submitted
12. If there is any discrepancy between the photocopy of the documents and the original documents,
admission will be cancelled
13. Candidates are requested to take adequate number of photocopy of all the documents before submitting
the same to the Department; originals once submitted will be returned ONLY at the time of issuing TC
14. Your provisional admission will be cancelled summarily ‘if you have not completed’ your qualifying
program successfully
You are required to bring this letter along with the above-mentioned documents when you come for the
admission.
