RM20.9 MILLION MEGA TOTO 6/52 JACKPOT WON ON NEW YEAR’S DAY
Sports Toto wishes all a very Happy & Prosperous New Year and is very pleased to announce
that Mega Toto 6/52 jackpot of RM20.9 million started as the first jackpot winning of the New
Year.
A construction businessman from Selangor emerged as the winner of Mega Toto 6/52 jackpot
of RM20.9 million on 1 January 2012.
This winner, in his 50s, and his family learnt of the mega winning on the evening of the draw
day, Sunday, 1 January 2012 while still celebrating the New Year in the comfort of their home.
They could not believe it on seeing that their bet numbers matched the draw results published
on Sports Toto’s website. He said he and his wife didn’t sleep a wink and only thought of
double-checking their winning from a daily first thing the next morning.
His winning set of numbers – 11, 18, 27, 31, 35 & 46 – was derived from Lucky Pick, a
computerized random numbers selection system designed for customers who just wish to try
their luck with numbers from “nowhere” so to speak, or have no idea of what numbers to
choose.
He said the joy of winning that huge fortune was indeed indescribable and that it would
change their New Year resolutions altogether!
On future plans, the first thing that came to his mind was that he would settle all outstanding
loans, business and personal.
He would also use some of his winnings to expand his business while keeping a sizeable part of
it for personal pursuits and enjoyment with his family as well as charity. He also quipped that
China is a fabulous country with numerous beautiful sights and he would now take time out of
his busy schedule to travel frequently to China with his family.

This Mega Toto 6/52 winning is the latest multi-million ringgit jackpot winning subsequent to the
Toto 4D Jackpot 1 winning of RM16 million barely 10 days ago on Christmas day. Supreme
Toto 6/58 jackpot, currently snowballing to approximately RM52 million, is going to be the
biggest jackpot ever won in Malaysia, after it was won twice at slightly below RM48 million
each.
On the sidelines, the second prize of Toto 4D Jackpot totaling RM268,395 was also won on
New Year’s day in Negeri Sembilan.
Confirmation of jackpot winnings
A spokesperson from Sports Toto confirmed that only one ticket bearing the numbers 11, 18,
27, 31, 35 and 46 was drawn as the first prize of Mega Toto 6/52 on Sunday, 1 January 2012
(Draw No. 3636/12) for a total sum of RM20,908,070.80. On the same draw, the second prize
(Jackpot 2) of Toto 4D Jackpot for a total sum of RM268,395.71 was won.
