The most enviable jackpot in town – RM47.82 MILLION - was won !
A supremely lucky man from Selangor won RM47.82 million jackpot yesterday, 28
September 2010. He won it through Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot game.
This is the biggest jackpot ever won in Malaysia! Prior to this, the highest jackpot
record of RM20.9 million was also created by Sports Toto through Mega Toto 6/52 in
December 2008.
This lucky winner, a businessman in his 50s, learnt of his winning from Sports Toto
website last night, ie. the draw evening itself. He couldn’t believe his own eyes and
was dumbfounded for seconds before getting his wife to verify his winning repeatedly.
The couple quipped that they were too overjoyed to sleep a wink after that and
couldn’t wait to claim the most enviable prize money in town from Sports Toto’s head
office.
He shared that he had been an ardent follower of Supreme Toto 6/58 ever since its
launch on 20 March 2010. He regularly put in RM20 bet on the game which gives him
10 chances of striking the jackpot. His winning set of numbers 8, 11, 19, 22, 54 & 55
was actually derived from Lucky Pick, Sports Toto’s computerized random numbers
selection system, even though he did also come up with his own set of numbers.
Supreme Toto 6/58, with a guaranteed minimum upfront jackpot of RM8,888,888,
commands a huge following of people who want to try their luck on the multi-million
ringgit jackpot.
What’s next? Charity is the first word that came out of his mouth. The couple said
they couldn’t use all the money on their own and the money is definitely going to
benefit many people around them, especially their siblings who are not financially
stable. They would also help many other people out there who are in desperate need
of financial assistance.
