<strong>2013</strong>/<strong>14</strong> <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> <strong>Volleyball</strong> State Team Trials<br />
You are invited to attend selection trials for the <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>14</strong> <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> State Team Program!<br />
TRIAL REGISTRATION: All athletes trialling must register online www.volleyballvictoria.com.au and complete the<br />
Athlete Agreement. The trial fee of $25.00 ($12.50 per trial) must be paid when registering online.<br />
Trials are open only to individual athletes seeking partner/s and pairs that have not been a part of <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> <strong>Beach</strong><br />
State Team. Coaches and Selection Committee will select pairs and threes/fours that will progress from the trials to<br />
the Selection Tournament.<br />
ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>14</strong> <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> State Team selection, players must be active in clubs and<br />
associations throughout <strong>Victoria</strong> and have an individual player registration.<br />
1 st Trial: Sun 6 th October, <strong>2013</strong> - State <strong>Volleyball</strong> Centre, 270 Stud Rd, Dandenong North<br />
<strong>U15</strong> Boys & Girls – 9:00am to 11:00pm, arrive by 8:45am<br />
<strong>U17</strong> Boys & Girls – 11:00am to 1:00pm, arrive by 10:45am<br />
<strong>U19</strong> Boys & Girls – 1:00pm to 3:00pm, arrive by 12:45am<br />
<strong>U23</strong> Men & Women – 3:00pm to 5:00pm, arrive by 2:45pm<br />
2 nd Trial: Sun 13 th October, <strong>2013</strong> - State <strong>Volleyball</strong> Centre, 270 Stud Rd, Dandenong North<br />

<strong>U15</strong> – born 2000 or later <strong>U17</strong> – born 1998 or later <strong>U19</strong> – born 1996/97 <strong>U23</strong> – born 1992/93/94/95<br />
*Please note that <strong>Volleyball</strong> Australia is in deliberations on the composition of the <strong>U15</strong> teams. <strong>U15</strong> team will consist either of<br />
three (3) or four (4) athletes.<br />
SELECTION TOURNAMENT Open to selected pairs and threes/fours from the trials as well as existing pairs competing<br />
for the spots in the <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> State Team.<br />
*Existing pairs refers to pairs that have an existing partnership and have competed in elite/ranking competitions.<br />

Top two (2) teams from each age group will qualify directly for the <strong><strong>Victoria</strong>n</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> State Team and the next two<br />
teams will be selected by coaches.
Athletes are not to wear National or State uniforms at these selection trials. All coaches will be in<br />
attendance at both trials. It is expected that all athletes attend both of the above trials unless been advised otherwise<br />
by the coaching staff. If you cannot attend one of the above trials, it is expected that you advise the Program<br />
Manager via email.<br />
<strong>2013</strong>/<strong>14</strong> Australian Junior <strong>Beach</strong> <strong>Volleyball</strong> Championships (AJVC) – Adelaide, SA:<br />
• The selected teams will compete in the AJVC to be held in Adelaide, SA. Championships will be held<br />
from Monday 13 th of January to Thursday 16 th January, 20<strong>14</strong>.<br />
• The total <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>14</strong> Athlete Levy will be finalized by the selection trials. All selected athletes/families<br />
must pay by the due date as these funds are required for specific pre Championships expenses and<br />
deposits.<br />
