An Invitation to Support CNSA and Ontario’s Future Nurses
Dear CNSA Supporters and Community Partners,
Sault College is honored to host to the CNSA Ontario Regional Conference 2013, happening in
October of this year. In order to facilitate this endeavour, we invite you to be a part of this event through
donations and sponsorship opportunities. The conference will have approximately 200 Registered Nurse
(RN) and Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) students from schools across Ontario. This will provide
attendees with the opportunity for collaboration, hands on workshops, seminars from expert nurses with
years of knowledge, and a truly “Up North” experience. This experience will help to shape the future of
nursing in Ontario.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Nursing: A Multifaceted Experience”. Essentially, this
is a way of looking at the nursing profession as a whole. When you think of nurses, many of the first
areas that come to mind are hospital or geriatric care settings; however, there are a vast number of
opportunities that students may not be aware of. The goal of this conference is to highlight a number of
specialty areas that nursing school graduates can transition into, so that they can truly have the career of
their dreams. There are many “facets” to being a nurse, but the core is always holistic care, centered on
the client.
Another exciting aspect to our conference will be the Career and Exhibition Fair, where sponsors
and recruiters can network with the future Ontario Nurses and Nurse Leaders.
