REPAIR<br />
Spray Head Replacement<br />
1. Ensure pneumatic and water pressure is<br />
removed from the spray head.<br />
2. Ensure the water tanker is empty before<br />
performing this service.<br />
If water level in tanker is higher than the<br />
spray head base plate, water will come out<br />
of the spray bar when the spray head is<br />
removed.<br />
3. Label pneumatic supply hose and<br />
disconnect.<br />
4. Plug pneumatic hose.<br />
10. Reconnect labeled supply hose.<br />
11. Pressurize pneumatic spray system and<br />
check for leaks as well as proper spray head<br />
operation.<br />
Drop-in Assembly Build-up<br />
1. Perform the assembly stack-up sequence as<br />
shown below.<br />

Ensure open pneumatic lines are capped to<br />
prevent system contamination.<br />
5. Remove base plate mount bolts.<br />
6. Remove spray head.<br />
7. Inspect base plate for damage and water<br />
pipe for obstructions or debris.<br />
8. Install new O-ring on lower housing of the<br />
spray head and install spray head with 4<br />
mounting bolts and steel washers.<br />
9. Tighten mounting bolts.<br />

b. Lower guide disk.<br />
c. O-ring.<br />
d. Diaphragm.<br />
e. O-ring.<br />
f. Upper guide disk.<br />
g. Flat washer<br />
h. Lock washer<br />
i. Bolt stem<br />

Ensure bolt threads are coated with<br />
Loctite® Marine grade anti-seize (34395)<br />
or equivalent prior to reassembly. Failure<br />
to ensure threads are coated may result in<br />
damage to fastener or thread bores when<br />
repair or replacement becomes necessary.<br />
2. Torque bolt stem (i) 18-20 ft-lbs (24-27<br />
Nm).<br />
