The Institute provides technological support for the production of space-rocket hardware such as:<br />
the design, development and manufacture of hydraulic and gas line cleansing and<br />
decontamination equipment; automated fluid purity control equipment for spacecraft and<br />
rockets; research into the non-disruptive fluid purity control technology applicable to vacuum<br />
fuelling of spacecraft and rockets; and the design, development and manufacture of loading and<br />

Optical and Electronic Complexes and Systems — Scientific and Production Enterprise, Federal<br />
State Unitary Enterprise<br />
OPTECS specialises in the manufacture and operation of space-borne and ground-based<br />
equipment for satellite monitoring, resource surveillance, mapping and geodesics. At present, in<br />
cooperation with TsSKB-Progress, OPTECS is taking part in the creation of the prospective<br />
Resource-DK, Resource-01 and other Earth remote sensing satellites.<br />
Since 1999, under technical direction from the M.V. Khrunichev Space Centre, OPTECS has<br />
been conducting R&D on Gamma-L and Gamma-Ts panchromatic spectra zonal electro-optic<br />
systems and stereo electro-optic terrain mapping systems for Monitor-E satellite. Jointly with<br />
Polyot Production Association, OPTECS is now working on a near space, atmosphere and Earth<br />
surface monitoring system based on a small satellite and a vast data reception and processing<br />
