December 2 - 5 at Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta,<br />

Display booth<br />

The minimum size of a booth will be 9 sq mt. It will<br />

have: 1 discussion table • 3 chairs • 1 waste bin • 3 spot<br />

lights • a fascia • one 10 amp. electrical socket • wallto-wall<br />

carpet.<br />

Please inform EEPC India if you need more furniture,<br />

etc., before the exhibition starts. Payment has to be<br />

made too.<br />

Larger booths in multiples of 3 sq mt are also<br />

available.<br />

Charges<br />

One side open booth: US$330 per sq mt or INR16,500<br />

per sq mt + INR1,700 per sq mt as Service Tax.<br />

Two sides open booth (corner): US$355 per sq mt or<br />

INR17,750 per sq mt + INR1,828 per sq mt as Service<br />

Tax.<br />

Bare space (a minimum 36 sq mt and maximum of<br />

3 open sides): US$290 per sq mt or INR14,500 per sq<br />

mt + INR1,494 per sq mt as Service Tax.<br />

Note: Service Tax is not applicable if participants pay<br />

in US dollars.<br />

Due to limited availability of corner booths, allocation<br />

will be done on a first-<strong>com</strong>e-first-served basis subject<br />

to full payment.<br />

Important information<br />

Payment and cancellation<br />

Please make full payment along with the Application Form by 30<br />

October 2009. Space will be booked only after full payment is received.<br />

Cancellation charges will be 50% if reservation is cancelled after 6<br />

November 2009. Any cancellation after that would mean 100%<br />

forfeiture. EEPC India has the sole discretion to accept applications and<br />

allot space.<br />

Selection criteria<br />

The final selection of the participants will be done by a <strong>com</strong>mittee. It will<br />

be based on criteria such as accreditation to International Standards<br />

(like ISO, QS, etc.), foreign collaborations, annual exports, etc.<br />

Shipment of exhibits<br />

EEPC India will appoint a Shipping Agent to facilitate shipment of<br />

exhibits. However, participants are free to choose their own agents.<br />

Travel and hotel ac<strong>com</strong>modation<br />

EEPC India will assist participants to find suitable airlines and hotels at<br />

Jakarta, <strong>Indonesia</strong>, at negotiated rates through accredited travel agents.<br />

Participants can also make their own travel/hotel arrangements.<br />

Visa<br />

<strong>Indonesia</strong> allows ‘visa on arrival’ for Indian citizens. However, participants<br />

are advised to take Business Visas in advance before departing from<br />

India. EEPC India will issue re<strong>com</strong>mendation letters for visas to<br />

representatives of participating <strong>com</strong>panies. However, EEPC India cannot<br />

guarantee visas, as this is the sole discretion of the Embassy of <strong>Indonesia</strong><br />

in India.<br />

MDA grant<br />

All eligible participants will be entitled to the MDA grant under Focus<br />

ASEAN+2 Programme of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of<br />

India as per the MDA Guidelines effective from 1 April 2006. The MDA<br />

Guidelines can be downloaded from http://<strong>com</strong>merce.nic.in/mdaguidelines.pdf.<br />

Assistance is permissible on travel expenses by air on return by Economy<br />

Excursion Class fare and charges on built-up furnished stall. This is<br />

subject to an upper ceiling of INR1,50,000.<br />

An MDA grant is subject to <strong>com</strong>panies that have: (i) an FOB value of<br />

exports not exceeding INR15 crore in the preceding year; (ii) <strong>com</strong>pleted<br />

12 months of membership with EEPC India; (iii) regularly filed returns;<br />

and other conditions. The details can be obtained from the Regional<br />

offices of EEPC India.
