Volunteer success
Khaleda Dorasat found a job as a customer relations adviser
with the support of Genesis Community. Like many young
people, Khaleda had been struggling to find work. Through
Genesis Community’s volunteer scheme she undertook
volunteer roles and participated in a community outreach
course. After volunteering with Genesis for a few months,
she sought the help of Woodberry Works, our employment
advice and support service on our Woodberry Down
regeneration scheme, to apply for a paid position.
