• The DABP will be produced using QuarkXPress (Version 6.5 Mac). If you do not have access
to Quark, you can submit ads as .tif, .psd, .eps, or print-ready pdf files. We can also accept
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 files. Send all art to Robert Hayes at rhayes@nahbrc.org.
• If you would like the NAHB Research Center to create your ad, please submit finalized text, a
general concept of the layout you would like, and the images (at least 600 dpi) as separate files
to Robert Hayes at rhayes@nahbrc.org.
• All manufacturer names and phone numbers are included in an Index of Companies Listed.
With your artwork submission, please provide the phone number to be used in the Index.
• All ads require approval of the listing manufacturer before publication.
• Once completed, the DABP will be available for download in PDF format on both the NAHB
Research Center’s website (www.nahbrc.org) and the ToolBase Services website
(www.toolbase.org).
Page Margins
There will be an index header on either the top left or right side of each page, as well as a footer with
page number at either the bottom left or right of each page. Margins of an 8½ x 11-inch page should allow
for the headers and footers (.5" for top, bottom, and outside; .75" for spine).
