On this 8 day tour you’ll follow the wine route of Provence visiting wineries,
tasting the wines and meeting the winemakers. You’ll enjoy accommodation in
charming guest houses ‘à la française’. This is a delicious and sunny escape in
Provence to taste original Mediterranean flavoured wines.
DAY 1 Marseille | Saint Cannat Arriving at
Marseille Airport pick up your rental car and following
clear directions make your way to your hotel, an old
18th century farm located in Saint-Cannat. Dinner
tonight will be held in the restaurant of the hotel Mas
de Fauchon. (D)
DAY 2 Les Baux de Provence Visit an extremely
picturesque village with royal history and walk through
vineyards, taste great wines and enjoy the olive oil
AOP produced by the domain. Return to your hotel
Mas de Fauchon for dinner in the restaurant. (B.D)
DAY 3 Aix-en-Provence Today sees you
spending your morning visiting the great city of Aixen-Provence,
to enjoy a fascinating course lavished
by Clément, an expert in wines who will explain
the entire process from the vine stock to the wine
making. Dinner at your hotel Mas de Fauchon. (B.D)
DAY 4 Marseille et les Calanques | Ile des
Embiez Today you can spend some time at
leisure in Marseille and we suggest you taste the
delicious typical Marseille dish of ‘Bouillabaisse’. In
the afternoon head towards the island of Embiez
being sure to stop en-route to admire the amazing
landscapes. Tonight dinner will be served at your
new hotel, Le Canoubié hotel, a ‘Relais du Silence’

DAY 5 Île des Embiez Take time and enjoy a
full day to explore the Île des Embiez with its small
port, beautiful beaches and wild inlets, before going
to visit the wine-maker at the Domain d’Embiez, for a
visit and a wine-tasting of their best wines. Dinner at
the restaurant of Hotel Canoubié. (B.D)
DAY 6 Saint Tropez | Fréjus Today you’ll head
for Saint-Tropez, the mythical, yet world famous
small fishing port to walk along its dream beaches &
perhaps taste a ‘Tropezian’ tart. Your hotel will be the
Clos des Roses a 4 star hotel in Fréjus. Here you will
visit the cellar & taste the wines of the Domain. (B.D)
DAY 7 Fréjus | Provence Today take a tour into
the 'hinterland' of Provence. Eight medieval villages
perched on a hillside and whose origins date back
to the 10th century, are to be discovered in the area
known as Fayence. Take your time to explore these
world famous villages on your own, before returning
to Fréjus for dinner & overnight accommodation at

DAY 8 Departure Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
before returning your rental car and beginning your
homeward journey. (B)
A little taste of the life’s finer pleasures: champagne, chocolate & tasting at a
local food market. Join us to visit some of the world’s best chocolate makers,
discover the secrets of one of the most typical Parisian markets, the Marché
d’Aligre & visit the world famous Moët & Chandon champagne house.
Day 1 Paris Welcome to France! Arriving at
Paris airport collect your luggage, clear customs and
make your way to your centrally located hotel. The
remainder of the day is free to relax or start exploring
on your own. An optional airport transfer is available.
Day 2 Discovery of Champagne After an early
breakfast depart on a full-day small group tour to
discover Champagne. The first stop will be Rheims
where we will stop for a short visit of the Cathedral, a
Gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France used
to be crowned. We then continue to visit a small
wine-grower near Epernay. Depending on the activity,
you will see the grapes’ press, winery, blending,
riddling, disgorging...and round it off with a glass of
the vineyard’s champagne. Lunch will be served in a
typical restaurant in the centre of Epernay, featuring
a traditional menu from the Champagne region. The
afternoon begins with a visit to the world famous
Moët & Chandon Champagne house where an expert
will explain the method of Champagne making, from
grape picking to bottling, followed by a tasting session
where you will be offered a glass of this renown
Champagne. The return drive to Paris, where you’ll
arrive in the late afternoon, takes us along the Marne

Day 3 Paris Market Tour & Tastings Breakfast
at your hotel. Today we invite you to a food shopping
and tasting expedition, the perfect tour for foodies….
Join a small group tour and discover the secrets of
one of the most typical Parisian markets, the Marché
d’Aligre. Your English speaking guide, who lives
right in the market, will introduce you to the most
authentic shop keepers. Each of them will spend
some time sharing with you their passion and of
course you will get to taste their products. Croissants,
pastries, cheeses, wines and chocolates tastings,
a real food expedition! The Marché d’Aligre is the
only market in Paris to bring together three different
markets at the same time in one place, as in classical
theatre. It features a flea market, an open-air market
and a covered market, surrounded by authentic
gourmet shops. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Days 4 & 5 Paris Enjoy breakfast at your hotel &
two full days at leisure to explore this wonderful city

Day 6 Paris Today marks the end of this fine
vacation. Following breakfast at your hotel check out
