DAY 1 Marseille | Saint Cannat Arriving at<br />

Marseille Airport pick up your rental car <strong>and</strong> following<br />

clear directions make your way to your hotel, an old<br />

18th century farm located in Saint-Cannat. Dinner<br />

tonight will be held in <strong>the</strong> restaurant <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hotel Mas<br />

DAY 2 Les Baux de Provence Visit an extremely<br />

picturesque village with royal history <strong>and</strong> walk through<br />

vineyards, taste great wines <strong>and</strong> enjoy <strong>the</strong> olive oil<br />

DAY 3 Aix-en-Provence Today sees you<br />

spending your morning visiting <strong>the</strong> great city <strong>of</strong> Aixen-Provence,<br />

to enjoy a fascinating course lavished<br />

by Clément, an expert in wines who will explain<br />

<strong>the</strong> entire process from <strong>the</strong> vine stock to <strong>the</strong> wine<br />

DAY 4 Marseille et les Calanques | Ile des<br />

Embiez Today you can spend some time at<br />

leisure in Marseille <strong>and</strong> we suggest you taste <strong>the</strong><br />

delicious typical Marseille dish <strong>of</strong> ‘Bouillabaisse’. In<br />

<strong>the</strong> afternoon head towards <strong>the</strong> isl<strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong> Embiez<br />

being sure to stop en-route to admire <strong>the</strong> amazing<br />

l<strong>and</strong>scapes. Tonight dinner will be served at your<br />

new hotel, Le Canoubié hotel, a ‘Relais du Silence’<br />

DAY 5 Île des Embiez Take time <strong>and</strong> enjoy a<br />

full day to explore <strong>the</strong> Île des Embiez with its small<br />

port, beautiful beaches <strong>and</strong> wild inlets, before going<br />

to visit <strong>the</strong> wine-maker at <strong>the</strong> Domain d’Embiez, for a<br />

visit <strong>and</strong> a wine-tasting <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>best</strong> wines. Dinner at<br />

DAY 6 Saint Tropez | Fréjus Today you’ll head<br />

for Saint-Tropez, <strong>the</strong> mythical, yet world famous<br />

small fishing port to walk along its dream beaches &<br />

perhaps taste a ‘Tropezian’ tart. Your hotel will be <strong>the</strong><br />

Clos des Roses a 4 star hotel in Fréjus. Here you will<br />

visit <strong>the</strong> cellar & taste <strong>the</strong> wines <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Domain. (B.D)<br />

DAY 7 Fréjus | Provence Today take a tour into<br />

<strong>the</strong> 'hinterl<strong>and</strong>' <strong>of</strong> Provence. Eight medieval villages<br />

perched on a hillside <strong>and</strong> whose origins date back<br />

to <strong>the</strong> 10th century, are to be discovered in <strong>the</strong> area<br />

known as Fayence. Take your time to explore <strong>the</strong>se<br />

world famous villages on your own, before returning<br />

to Fréjus for dinner & overnight accommodation at<br />

DAY 8 Departure Enjoy breakfast at your hotel<br />

before returning your rental car <strong>and</strong> beginning your<br />

Day 1 Paris Welcome to France! Arriving at<br />

Paris airport collect your luggage, clear customs <strong>and</strong><br />

make your way to your centrally located hotel. The<br />

remainder <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> day is free to relax or start exploring<br />

on your own. An optional airport transfer is available.<br />

Day 2 Discovery <strong>of</strong> Champagne After an early<br />

breakfast depart on a full-day small group tour to<br />

discover Champagne. The first stop will be Rheims<br />

where we will stop for a short visit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ca<strong>the</strong>dral, a<br />

Gothic masterpiece where <strong>the</strong> Kings <strong>of</strong> France used<br />

to be crowned. We <strong>the</strong>n continue to visit a small<br />

wine-grower near Epernay. Depending on <strong>the</strong> activity,<br />

you will see <strong>the</strong> grapes’ press, winery, blending,<br />

riddling, disgorging...<strong>and</strong> round it <strong>of</strong>f with a glass <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> vineyard’s champagne. Lunch will be served in a<br />

typical restaurant in <strong>the</strong> centre <strong>of</strong> Epernay, featuring<br />

a traditional menu from <strong>the</strong> Champagne region. The<br />

afternoon begins with a visit to <strong>the</strong> world famous<br />

Moët & Ch<strong>and</strong>on Champagne house where an expert<br />

will explain <strong>the</strong> method <strong>of</strong> Champagne making, from<br />

grape picking to bottling, followed by a tasting session<br />

where you will be <strong>of</strong>fered a glass <strong>of</strong> this renown<br />

Champagne. The return drive to Paris, where you’ll<br />

arrive in <strong>the</strong> late afternoon, takes us along <strong>the</strong> Marne<br />
