Results are based on a SOP for material resistance/corrosive potential and performed by a reference institute or self testing<br />
The SOP’s can be downloaded at http:\\www.fogra.org<br />
• Plastic Part Testing, includes an additional test with typical plastic parts used in the printing unit and rubber coverings of ink<br />
and dampening rollers. Founts which passed this test successfully are marked by a green indicator in this column.<br />
• If the tests are not yet completed, the founts are marked by a yellow indicator in this column.<br />
• If no plastic part test is in progress or a successful test was not submitted to our office the mentioned area in the form is not<br />
marked.<br />
• After a successful introduction of the plastic part test in 01/2006 all new installed presses/orders since 01/2007 are obliged to<br />
run a fount that fulfills both, the corrosion and the plastic part criteria. In general we recommend our customers to use<br />
fountain solutions which fulfil both, the corrosion and the plastic part criteria to ensure the balance between performance and<br />
protection of the printing system.<br />
