<strong>Camp</strong> Tit-Bits<br />
Food: Participants were fed breakfast<br />
lunch and dinner prepared by the<br />
kitchen staff of Bell’s Secondary<br />
School. <strong>The</strong>re were also snacks and<br />
refreshments during the day and<br />
during special programs.<br />
Speak for change: <strong>The</strong> Speak for<br />
change program is aimed at driving<br />
research and advocacy in the<br />
campers. <strong>The</strong> competition was done<br />
at squad level. Each squad was given<br />
a topic to research on and deliver a<br />
compelling speech to drive positive<br />
change.<br />
Case Challenge: <strong>The</strong> <strong>Camp</strong>ers were<br />
given 3 days to think up a solution to<br />
any need they can identify within the<br />
camp environment. <strong>The</strong>y were also<br />
given a start-up fee of 2000 NGN and<br />
were required to make profit from<br />
their capital. <strong>The</strong> challenge awoke<br />
the creativity of many participants<br />
and exposed them to business<br />
principles such as marketing, planning<br />
and basic accounting.<br />
Sports: Sports were played at an<br />
inter-squad level. <strong>The</strong> games include<br />
football, volleyball, sack race and<br />
relay race. Indoor games like scrabble<br />
and chess were also available to<br />
campers.<br />
