This simple phrase helps explain much of what takes place at RGM Watch Company.
While we are constantly striving to produce novel
timepieces--such as Cal. 801 and the Pennsylvania
Tourbillon--we ensure that the great traditions
of fine watchmaking remain in focus. Modern
manufacturing technology exists side-by-side with
antique hand-operated machinery; hand-blued
screws or hand-polished components are not out
of place among the close tolerances afforded by
mechanized production.
RGM wants to offer the best watches--not only the
best watches made in the USA--to our customers,
and we believe that this requires equal efforts to
improve current methods and to preserve tradition.

The location of RGM Watch Company - in a small
town within a friendly rural region - is no accident.
The old-school approach to dealing one-on-one
with people is instilled in RGM and is a reflection
of where we live as much as where we work.
Likewise, there is great pride in doing a job the
right way and providing great value. RGM is proud
also to have transferred the manufacturing of
many watch parts and cases to Pennsylvania, USA
from locations in Europe, where this watchmaking
capability is generally centered.
In the 1800s, the great age of modernized
watchmaking began in America, where
technological advancement lived side-by-side with
fine manual craftsmanship. Today, both history and
watchmaking are alive and well at RGM.
