national clo<strong>the</strong>s since <strong>the</strong> early 20th century. The wish <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>n Museum director,<br />
expressed in 1922 that “those areas <strong>of</strong> Estonia where national clo<strong>the</strong>s are no longer<br />
worn, should once again start using and respecting <strong>the</strong>m”, has come true.
