A first for the last newsletter was the cartoon sketch.<br />
Such was its success that I invited Bill to do some more — see<br />
elsewhere. This/these were kindly supplied by Bill Bentall. Who?<br />
— he's the one in the cartoons with the big nose and... Bill is<br />
one of a very few members who actually contribute to this<br />
amazingly pretentious newsletter. What I do need is more of you<br />
writing about anything! The other thing in short supply is<br />
photos. Since last Christmas's newsletter with the page three<br />
and centre spread I've had no more photos for inclusion. There<br />
must be some vaguely amusing shots out there, or even photos to<br />
accompany articles about races.<br />
Whilst on the subject of newsletters and things Dave Sant<br />
and Graham Berry inform me that all the material for the <strong>Dark</strong><br />
<strong>Peak</strong> 'lO Years on the Bog' has been collated and that a typist<br />
is being sought. When this is completed publication should<br />
follow soon after — spring next year? Another first for the club<br />
is our first
