A REPORT FOR COLLEAGUES May 2015

Dear Colleague,
In my 30 years at William Hill, I have been fortunate enough to have worked
in almost every part of our business and I can therefore say without fear
of reproach, that not only are we a great company but we’re also a very
responsible one.
You are all too well aware that over recent years the industry has changed
significantly and that our business is the subject of far greater scrutiny than it
has been historically. This is not a bad thing, it’s just a shame that we are often
judged by commentators who simply don’t understand all the great things we
do at William Hill.
Each year we produce a Corporate Responsibility Report that showcases
not only some of our people but also some significant areas of specific focus.
This year we have also focussed on your great work in our communities and
significantly, on some of the facts; the real answers to the questions often posed
and the reasons why William Hill is such a great place to work.
This booklet takes some of the highlights from the full report and also, includes
the personal commitments that I and my senior team have made; I’d be
grateful if you could share these with your team.
I am very proud of our business and the positive difference we are making
together and you should also expect to hear something soon about our new
community policy; we’ll continue to make a difference together.
