The SUMMER SKILLS MATH PROJECT contains a variety of fun, diverse math<br />
activities to help your child review skills taught in third grade, such as basic and<br />
advanced addition and subtraction, basic multiplication and division, fractions, decimals,<br />
and practice in the reading and solving of story problems.<br />
The SUMMER SKILLS READING PROJECT contains a variety of reading and writing<br />
activities to help your child practice basic skills of reading comprehension, vocabulary,<br />
grammar, spelling, phonics, and writing.<br />
Project activities are designed to be completed within a ten week time frame.<br />
You choose the activities you and your child will complete each week. Since activities<br />
become more challenging as the weeks progress, your child should complete the<br />
activities in the order that they are presented.<br />
Follow these steps if you would like your child to participate.<br />

4...Scroll down to view the Grade 3 links.<br />
5...Click the WHES End-of-Third Grade Summer Skills Project link.<br />
6...Read the PARENT INFORMATION LETTER and the VERIFICATION FORM.<br />
7...View the Math Skills and Reading Skills activities.<br />
8...Download the activities for your child to complete.<br />
NOTE: If you are unable to download the activities,<br />
you make pick up Math / Reading Skills packets<br />
in our school office AFTER JUNE 28.<br />
IMPORTANT: If your child completes the Math and / or Reading Summer<br />
Skills Project(s), please complete the VERIFICATION FORM.
