Flushes<br />
• Every mutation call (put, delete etc.) causes a<br />
check for a flush<br />
• If threshold is met, flush file to disk and<br />
schedule a compaction<br />
• Try to compact newly flushed files quickly<br />
• The compaction returns - if necessary - where<br />
a region should be split
