Magazine Shoot Evaluation This lesson you must: • Evaluate your photo shoots for your magazine cover (pink worksheet) • Things to consider: – Composition style - space for text? – Is is appropriate for your genre and target audience? why? – How could you improve photos with editing? – Analyse at least one most successful image in detail (blue worksheet).
Magazine Cover Edits • This lesson you must: Produce a series of edits of your 3 most successful photographs (at least 2 edits of each photo). You will use one of these images for you magazine cover Things to consider: Cropping - image MUST BE PORTRAIT! Colour adjustments Clone stamp Lighting adjustments What type of magazine is it for? Where will the title and other information go? Will you have any secondary images on your cover? Make sure you document this process (screen prints), save the stages and annotate it.
