The College of Technology is organizing its annual Alumni Meet, SAMANVAY „12 on
20 th and 21 st October, 2012 under the auspices of Pantnagar Technology Alumni
Association (P.T.A.A.). We feel privileged to cordially invite you along with your
family members to come & attend the grandiose meet and make it a memorable
event for yourself and for all of us.
„SAMANVAY‟ provides a golden opportunity and a strong platform for our alumni
to experience the warmth of the golden days of their life, bring alive the memories
of their wonderful college days, and most importantly, to appreciate the sense of
belongingness to their alma mater- their very own Pantnagar!.
Samanvay signifies the coherence of present and past, which will go a long way in
nurturing servitude of professionalism and spirited allegiance. We shall be highly
obliged if you please extend this invitation to all other alumni in your vicinity and
request them on our behalf to attend Samanvay ‟12.
This year, we are also celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the 1983 batch (graduated
in 1987) and hope to make this event a great success with your kind presence. We
would like you to acquaint us with the contact details of other alumni so that they
are contacted to make them a part of this gathering. To help organizers of the
meet, kindly inform us of your arrival via post, e-mail or by registering at college
website at the earliest
Registration Procedure:
We are glad to inform you that we have launched a separate website
(www.gbpuat-tech.ac.in/samanvay) especially for Samanvay. It‟s an endeavor on
part of our college website team to make this meet a grand success. We request
all the alumni to register as soon as possible and confirm their participation in
order to avoid any inconvenience
Registration Charges for Samanvay‟12:
Rs.1000/- per person for PTAA members
Rs.1500/- per person for Non PTAA members
Rs.500/- per additional person
For outstation Alumni, these charges shall include:
Dinner on 19 th October and 20 th October
Breakfast on 20 th October and 21 st October
Lunch on 20 th October and 21 st October
Local Travel, Samanvay Kit and Memento
The charges as above are exclusive of accommodation for which extra payment
would be made by the concerned person on actual basis.

Souvenir - The annual alumni magazine is released every year on this occasion
to keep our Alumni updated with various activities taking place in the college. This
magazine also contains some articles, poems, extracts from your diaries or even
advertisements of your organization. The students will relish reading your
achievements and past experiences of college and corporate life. This will in turn
serve as an effective medium to spread your words among fellow alumni and the
students of the college.
For publishing, the Souvenir advertisements are invited from different
enterprises/individuals. We request all the alumni if they can manage the
advertisements of their reputed companies to be printed in the souvenir.
The rates for different sections (colored) are as follows:
Back page full – Rs 40,000
Inner back page – Rs 25,000
Rest full pages
_ Rs 15,000/- each
Rest ½ page
_ Rs 8000/-each

alongwith the cheques or DDs in favour of “Pantnagar Technology
Alumni Association” payable at Pantnagar. These can also be sent by post to
General Secretary PTAA on his address latest by 10 th October 2012.
Accommodation and Travel:
Due to limited accommodation at Pantnagar, stay arrangements are to be made in
some good hotels at Rudrapur on self payment basis and therefore all alumnus are
requested to register as soon as possible and confirm their participation. The
university vehicles will ply to Nagla station, Lalkuan station and Haldi road station
on the arrival of trains.
