Dance Mat hire is now subject to charges, please check overleaf for more information.
Whilst the mats are with you then you must ensure that they are stored carefully and that any
damage or equipment failure is reported to the Sport and Leisure Service.
Please ensure that if the mats are used outside of Council property that they are covered
by the Hall or Organising Group’s Insurance. Mats are about £1000 each! Please
acknowledge that you have read and checked that insurance cover is in place.

1-12 mats (including music system)

Delivery charge – if you require a member
of Sport & Leisure staff to deliver/return
equipment (this will be dependent on staff
availability)
£12 per day (total charge £48 per week (total charge
for all mats inc VAT) for all mats inc VAT)
£24 per day (total charge £96 per week (total charge
for all mats inc VAT) for all mats inc VAT)
£10 per drop off or collection (+ any additional ferry
charges incurred)
These charges apply to all non-SIC bookings.
You will be charged either a daily or weekly amount for mat hire. This will be a total charge
for all mats, not a charge per mat.
The charge levied will depend on whether you have hired 12 mats or more.
You can collect the mats in your own vehicle or we can deliver them if you are unable to
collect. If you require a member of our staff to transport the mats, the charge will be £10
per transportation. This will depend on staff availability.
We will send an invoice for the charges incurred. Payment can be made to our Finance
Section by cash, cheque or debit / credit card.
