telephone calls.
Aims for early detection and identification to improve
health outcomes.

Promotes health and well being of children using
activities such as play, school work and self care.
Referrals are only accepted from Paediatricians and
Children's Occupational Therapists. Referrals are
categorised on receipt and prioritised. Urgent referrals
are allocated immediately and all others are placed on
a Waiting List.
Service for children with known or suspected vision
problems, squints, ocular motility problems or
anomalies of binocular single vision.
Orthoptic clinics and Optometrist clinics are held at
health centres and clinics across the city
The service has close working relationships with
ophthalmology at MREH
