Who am I ?
I’m an ex Judo champion. I ran the 400 m in 49.8
seconds, play basketball like Michael Jordan and
love kite surfing! At 39, I think I’ve done pretty
well so far. Happily married with 2 beautiful
daughters and a Persian cat who thinks he’s a
dog!

Nader H. Adam Ali is 41 Years old, married
with two daughters, and a son. He graduated
in 1992 with a BBA Magna Cum Laude from
the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Ross
School of Business. He is also a Certified Public
Accountant. He also holds an Msc from the
Illinois Institute of Technology, in a specialized
and highly quantitative program for Financial
Markets, Trading and Derivative products.
In 1996, he returned to the U.A.E to join the
family business which is one the largest Perfume
Houses in the Gulf. He has enjoyed working in
various areas of the business, but is now focused
on growing the Retail and Distribution areas of
the business.
Favorite place to vacation
I used to love sitting on a beach and enjoying
the sun but now that’s all shifted to places with
extreme nature. Earlier this year, I was trekking to
Everest and early next year, I’ll be in the Amazon
jungles of Peru.

What’s the biggest mistake you see
entrepreneurs make?
Failing in putting together proper budgets.
Getting stuck with cash flow issues is always a
killer.

I’m a double agent working as an undercover

One day being able to play the guitar!

AWAKENED! Loved every event of the year,
fantastic job from the board and from Global. My
special moment was during the Ubud Awaken
retreat, where a group of us from the UAE
chapter went to find some enlightenment in the
mountains of Indonesia! We meditated, laughed,
water rafted and somehow managed to find
ourselves awakened by the end of the journey!
